WHY SHOULD WE AS EFFECTIVE ELT PRACTITIONERS HAVE HIGH EXPECTATIONS FOR ALL OUR STUDENTS?
Because we need our students to understand that they are very important in the classroom, they have to feel comfortable in the classroom wiht the enviroment on it. Also, we encourage our students and to make them believe that they have the potential and the ability to do things they think they can not do.

HOW COME WE NEED TO COMMUNICATE THEM TO OUR STUDENTS?
 As good practitioners our job it´s not only have expectations about our students, but also to let our students know what we expect of them, i think we can transmit our students these expectations by comunicating to them because if our students know what is expected of them, they could work in a better way in order to show teachers that they are capable to get or achieve what the teacher expects of them.

 HOW DO WE DO THAT?

I think that we do that when we talk to our students and to get engañe ourself to help students to success not only in the classroom but also out of the classroom, when we congratulate improvement of students, it could be when they get a good grade or prize them when they achieve a goal.

HOW DO WE SUPPORT THEM TO ACHIEVE THEIR LEARNING EXPECTATIONS?
We support our students when we make them to get the goals working not only using what the teacher teaches or says in the classroom but also on their own because it´s the best way our students can discover how skillful they are. When students try to understand and analize something on their own, they could find that they the potential to get what they think it´s impossible amd that the teacher is just a person who guides them to be successful.
HOW DO WE DEMONSTRATE THAT WE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR OUR STUDENTS' LEARNING?
We demonstrate that we are responsible for our students´ learning when we get ready for every singles class by preparing our lesson plan, when we look the better tools to develop an interesting class, when we motivate students, when we make our students to feel comfortable in the classroom, by creating rapport, when we try to solve our students´ needs, when we show them that the teacher is not only a person who wants they learn, but also a person who wants they success.

MY DAPA WARM UP ACTIVITY
Description
1.      I began my warm-up activity at 1.30 p.m.
2.     First, I greeted my students and asked them how they felt that day.
3.      Then, I said them the purpose of the activity.
4.      After that, I gave them instructions:
  • First, students had to make to lines in the classroom.
  • Then, i told them that i was going to say a sentence to the person who was at the end of the line and they had to pass the message to the person next to them whithout any change on it and finally the person in the beginning of the line had to run quickly and write the sentence.
  • The line or the group who wrote more sentences was going to be the winner, but first i gave them an example.
5.      i asked if they had understood what they were going to do.
6.   One student told that he had understood so i explained it again.
7.      two students aswered me on their mother tongue, and i said dont worry it´s o.k you have understood.
8.      then, students were in two lines and they were passing a message and the person at the beginning of the line had to write the sentences.
9.      The persons who wrote quickly the sentence right got a point.
10.  some students did not work on the activity, but most of them did it.

MONITORING STUDENT PROGRESS AND POTENTIAL

WHAT'S THE RELEVANCE THAT FEEDBACK AND HOMEWORK HAVE FOR EFFECTIVE TEACHERS?

 For me, they have a valious relevance because you know nowaday students don´t like to work so much in the class and some of them don´t enjoy the class neither the activities like warm-ups nor  other kind of activity you as a teacher develop in the class so, you can apply some homework for students to work better this when students don´t work in the class or don´t participate on activities. when we find students like these who don´t enjoy working in the classroom we as future teachers could apply these techniques in order to they can develop the topic in a different way so we can provide homework assessments to create interest in them to study.

The relevance that the feedback has is that a person who is receiving feedback, it gives him/her a clearer idea of how well they are doing the work and how they might improve. So we can say that feedback not only helps students to improve, but also it helps teachers to notice where students are having problems in order to solve these problems in a better way to facilitate leaning and achievement.

When students are facing problems with a topic, teachers should apply feedbacks in order to motivate students to get solutions to their doubts or problems with the subject because it helps students to clarify doubts and problems with the teaching and learning process, also it could help them to reinforce their knowledge about a topic or the subject.

Every teacher has purposes and when he/she notices that goals are not being achieving he/she has to make use of feedback when knowledge is not transmitted or the topic is not clear for students the use of it could be really important because students could clarify doubts by it.

Sometimes it´s important and even crucial to apply feedback because it is a tool for effective teachers they apply when lesson plans are not working correctly.

Effective teachers know that homework is crucial to motivate and satisfy students learning needs and also to motivate them to work not only in the classroom, but also at home; we as teachers need to show students that working in the class is not enough to success in the teaching and learning process so they have to work at home. Moreover homework or extra-class helps teachers to notice if students have caught not pretty well, but caught the idea of a topic.

Also, teachers have to develop strong bonds of friendship with parents and to motivate them to check students´ books and notebooks every day in order to make students responsible with their tasks.

WHY DOES ASSESSMENT PLAY A CENTRAL ROLE IN TEACHING?

*      Because teachers can notice if they are working right or doing things well if not, they could look for changes and to modify lesson plans.

*      It helps teachers to see if students have learned a topic.

*      Assessing the students is an opportunity to know if our teaching is effective or not.

*      It helps to check which students like to work out of the classroom also, to check which students are having problems and which have understood well a topic.

WHAT ARE SOME EFFECTIVE WAYS OF MONITORING STUDENT PROGRESS?

*      Assess students frequently.
*      Using projects for a topic
*      Dramas
*      Doing portfolios
*      Assessments that monitor progress on specific skills, mainly reading.
*      Discussions
*      Quizzes

HOW THIS MANAGEMENT PARAMENTER WILL EMPOWER MY OWN TEACHING AND LEARNING STYLE?

WELL, I THINK THIS MANAGEMENT WILL EMPOWER MY TEACHING AND LEARNING STYLE   BECAUSE STUDYING THIS TOPIC, I COULD LEARNED MANY IMPORTANT ASPECTS I WILL TRY TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT IN MY OWN TEACHING PRACTICUM.

FIRST, I LEARNED THAT ROUTINES ARE VERY IMPORTANT TO FALLOW AN ORDER AND TO CONDUCT OUR STUDENTS IN A GOOD AND AN EFFICIENT TEACHING AND LEARNING PROCESS.

ALSO, I LEARNED THAT ROUTINES ARE THE BACKBONE OF DAILY CLASSROOM LIFE. THEY FACILITATE TEACHING AND LEARNING, THEY SAVE VALUABLE CLASSROOM TIME. AND WHAT’S MOST IMPORTANT, EFFICIENT ROUTINES MAKE IT EASIER FOR STUDENTS TO LEARN AND ACHIEVE MORE.

I CAN SAY THAT WHEN YOUR ROUTINES AND PROCEDURES ARE CAREFULLY TAUGHT AND VERY STABLISHED IN THE CLASSROOM, STUDENTS KNOW WHAT IS EXPECTED OF THEM AND THEY WILL KNOW HOW TO DO CERTAIN THINGS ON THEIR OWN:

FOR EXAMPLE, EACH TEACHER AND EACH CLASSROOM IS DIFFERENT; CLASSROOMS ARE SUCCESSFUL WHEN TEACHERS HAVE EFFECTIVE ROUTINES FOR:
    • ENTERING THE CLASSROOM
    • WHERE STUDENTS SIT
    • CHECKING WHICH STUDENTS ARE PRESENT IN CLASS
    • LATENESS TO CLASS
    • GIVING OUT EQUIPMENT AND BOOKS
    • HOW STUDENTS CAN MOVE AROUND THE CLASSROOM
    • WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF EMERGENCIES
